About asher

Me in a nutshell: Standard uptight ballet boy. Trapeze junkie. Half-baked choreographer. Budding researcher. Transit cyclist. Terrible homemaker. Neuro-atypical. Fabulous. Married to a very patient man. Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2015). Proto-foodie, but lazy about it. Cat owner ... or, should I say, cat own-ee? ... dog lover. Equestrian.

  1. Hi

I hope everything is alright (or will be all right very very soon), since you don’t post at your usual frequency.

My artistic experiences have been very short until now – I’m more on the modern dance side, the floor sweeping class after the ballerinas have left a mess ;).

    • Ha! Is that what modern dance is for?! 😀

Also, thanks 🙂 I am okay. I basically fell over dead last Tuesday evening and finally went to the doctor on Monday — apparently I have a sinus infection (which is no great surprise).

I’m starting to feel better now, though — I did barre and adagio on Saturday (and then made it 3/4s of the way through juggling before I had to lie down on a bench for a while), skipped Monday class to go to the doc, then did barre and adagio again today.

I haven’t been to any further cirque classes since Saturday, so I’m going to try fitness/flexibility class tonight and possibly trapeze. Not 100% sure I’m ready for trapeze yet, though, so we’ll see!
